The Pressing Report ("we") is a free vinyl newsletter read worldwide. This policy explains what we collect and why. Contact for any privacy question: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe. That's all we need.
- Email engagement data (opens and clicks), collected by our email provider so we can tell which picks are useful.
- Basic site analytics, aggregated and without advertising cookies (for example, Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Payment details from sponsors, which go to Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
Who processes it
- Kit (ConvertKit) stores the subscriber list and sends the newsletter.
- Resend sends transactional emails such as welcome and confirmation messages.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Stripe processes sponsor payments.
- Affiliate partners (for example Amazon Associates or retailers' affiliate programs), whose sites may set their own cookies when you click a link.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data by emailing [email protected]. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the EU and UK (GDPR) and other places have these rights by law, and we honor them for everyone, wherever you live. Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
Children
The newsletter is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and note it in the next issue.
